A Conversation with the Honeybee:
Me: Was that the guy to whom you were talking?
Honeybee: You know, Winston Churchill said it was okay to end a sentence with a preposition.
Me: Well, you know what happened to him.
Honeybee: STDs?
Me: What?
Honeybee: Because he slept with thousands of women?
Me: Um, you're thinking of Wilt Chamberlain.
Honeybee: Oh, who has the initials WC? Besides our friend WC from college?
Me: You just can't make a good argument tonight, can you?
As good arguments go, let's discuss the validity of someone sleeping with "thousands" of people (I'm even opening it up to bi-sexual relations). Thousands implies 2,000 or more. So we'll use that as our conservative number. Average rate will be one partner a night, no repeats or doubles. A person would have to go non-stop for 365 days/nights a year (ignoring leap years) for almost 5
He claimed to have had 20,000 sexual partners. And shouldn't you be working? Or emailing me, instead of researching Wilt Chamberlain's STDs and life lessons?
So now on to the veracity of his claim of 20,000 horizontal dancing partners in 47 years (He died at age 63 and I'm assuming he activated around 16 - though he might have been an early or late bloomer. I'm guessing he started his ascent when his athletic career really took off). 20,000 is the new number, divided by the exhausting non-stop 365 days/nights a year which leaves us with nearly 55 years of service (not even a year left to make love to one woman, Wilt). That's 8 more years than I've calculated he had, unless he started romancing at the ripe age of 8.

I believe in the case of Wilt Chamberlain there were a number of instances where there were multiple women at the same time, and numerous partners a day...how he had the time or energy to play basketball after all the sex, is beyond comprehension!
